Dr. Polansky has delivered comprehensive cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and implant dentistry for more than 40 years. After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1973 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Polansky spent two years in the US Army Dental Corps, stationed at Fort. Dix, New Jersey. In 1975, Dr. Polansky entered private practice in Medford Lakes. Three years later, he built his second practice in the town in which he now lives, Cherry Hill.
The doctor’s postgraduate study includes completion of the continuum of courses at the Pankey Institute for Continuing Dental Education (where he’s a visiting faculty member), the Dawson Academy, and Dr. Michael Schuster's program in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Dr. Polansky has published several books including “The Art of the Examination,” “The Art of Case Presentation,” “A Short Guide to a Long Career,” and “The Complete Dentist: Positive Leadership and Communication Skills for Success.” In addition, he has written for many industry publications including Dental Economics, Dentistry Today, Dental Practice and Finance, and Independent Dentistry (a UK publication). His articles were regularly featured in The Pankeygram, a newsletter of the Pankey Institute.
In 1999, Dr. Polansky founded The Academy of Dental Leadership, an online community for dentists that want to learn learn skills that will help them flourish in today’s dental marketplace. The resources have become a leading guide for dentists who seek a philosophical approach to running their practices.
